These short weddings are starting to become more popular with me especially in the first few months of the year, Helen and Chris’s wedding at Stanmer House was another one and a great one at that. Stanmer House is situated at the far end of Stanmer Park so when it comes to the couple shots you are a little spoilt for choice. Added to that the building itself is beautiful, especially the ceremony room with the large pillars and huge windows makes it a lovely room to photography in. I arrived pre ceremony to get some shots of the groomsmen, the guests having a pre ceremony drink and also some time to shoot the room set up for the ceremony. Helen arrived shortly after and we had a few quick shots at the front of the building before moving inside. The ceremony was beautiful with the best man playing a rather funny ring prank which had everyone going. Once the ceremony was finished the Bride and Groom had enough time for a drink and some congratulation before I took them off the the park for some couple shots. Helen and Chris were both very relaxed which made for some really nice easy shots. We then moved back inside and came out the front door to a confetti tunnel and finally some group shots on the front lawn. I had time to shoot some details of the room and capture the bride and groom entering for the wedding breakfast, that was the end of the day for me and I left everyone to enjoy their meal and evening celebrations. A fantastic couple and a fantastic wedding, thank you Helen and Chris.
